What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess the diagnostic and prognostic performance of cardiac CT examinations in a real-world patient population. It involves collecting anthropometric data, medical history, and results from CT examinations to address various scientific questions related to coronary artery stenosis. The data will be compiled in a registry to enhance understanding and improve clinical outcomes. The study is conducted at the Radiologische Praxis Heidelberg in collaboration with Heidelberg University.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals referred for cardiac CT examinations by their physicians.
Not a fit: Patients who are not referred for cardiac CT examinations will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve the accuracy of diagnosing coronary artery stenosis and enhance patient management.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in using cardiac CT for evaluating coronary artery conditions, indicating a promising approach.
