What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effectiveness of Airrosti exercises combined with TheraBand exercises in reducing pain and disability associated with Double-Crossed Syndrome in young female smartphone users. The research focuses on participants aged 18 to 25 years who exhibit rounded shoulder postures. By comparing the outcomes of these two exercise interventions, the study aims to provide evidence for effective treatment options for this common condition. The study is particularly relevant given the increasing prevalence of posture-related issues among smartphone users.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are young females aged 18 to 25 with rounded shoulder postures and no history of shoulder trauma or current shoulder pathology.
Not a fit: Patients with a history of shoulder trauma, current shoulder pathology, or spinal deformities such as thoracic scoliosis or kyphosis may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide an effective non-invasive treatment option for young women suffering from shoulder pain and disability due to poor posture.
How similar studies have performed: While research on the specific combination of Airrosti and TheraBand exercises for this condition is limited, similar exercise interventions have shown promise in improving posture and reducing pain in related populations.
