What this trial studies

This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the BETY-Biopsychosocial Questionnaire (BETY-BQ) specifically designed for individuals with coronary artery disease (CAD). The BETY-BQ was developed based on patient feedback to better capture the biopsychosocial changes experienced by patients participating in a cognitive exercise therapy program. Participants will be individuals aged 18-80 who have CAD and can understand the assessment scales. The study will involve observational data collection without any specified interventions.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18-80 who have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease and can comprehend the assessment tools.

Not a fit: Patients with active infections, a history of myocardial infarction, or neurological diseases may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide a more accurate tool for assessing the biopsychosocial impacts of coronary artery disease, leading to improved patient care.

How similar studies have performed: While the approach of using a biopsychosocial scale is not widely tested, similar studies have shown promise in improving patient assessments in chronic disease management.
