What this trial studies

This study evaluates a patented ampoule peeling device designed to enhance safety and efficiency for nurses when opening ampoule bottles. It involves three phases: first, nurses will compare manual and device-assisted methods in a controlled environment, recording time, safety, and satisfaction. Next, they will observe their own practices over ten days, alternating between methods, and finally, they will choose their preferred method for six months, providing feedback on their experiences. The goal is to reduce hand injuries and improve work efficiency in nursing care.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are nursing staff who are experienced in handling ampoule bottles and willing to participate in the evaluation process.

Not a fit: Nurses who are unwilling to participate or unable to manually open ampoules will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this device could significantly reduce hand injuries among nurses and improve their work efficiency.

How similar studies have performed: While this specific device evaluation is novel, similar studies have shown that innovative tools can improve safety and efficiency in healthcare settings.
