What this trial studies

This study evaluates the effectiveness of ergonomic training combined with exercise for automotive factory workers suffering from chronic low back pain of unknown origin. Participants aged 18-60 will be randomly assigned to either a study group receiving both ergonomic training and exercise or a control group receiving only ergonomic training. The intervention will last for 12 weeks, with participants expected to perform exercises three times a week. Various assessments will be conducted to measure pain levels, physical activity, sleep quality, and functionality throughout the study.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are full-time automotive factory workers aged 18-60 with chronic low back pain lasting at least three months.

Not a fit: Patients under 18 or over 60, part-time workers, or those with psychological issues or recent surgical interventions may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly reduce chronic low back pain and improve the quality of life for factory workers.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown positive outcomes with ergonomic interventions and exercise for similar populations, suggesting a promising approach.
