What this trial studies

This clinical trial investigates the impact of multi micronutrient supplementation during pregnancy on various pregnancy outcomes. It involves a randomized control design with two groups: one receiving standard micronutrient care and the other receiving additional multi micronutrients, including calcium, vitamin D, and DHA, from the first to the third trimester. Both groups undergo regular ultrasound examinations and laboratory tests to monitor health indicators. The goal is to determine if the enhanced micronutrient intake leads to better maternal and fetal health outcomes.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are pregnant individuals in their first trimester, less than 10 weeks gestation, residing in DKI Jakarta.

Not a fit: Patients with chronic diseases, a history of reproductive issues, or those planning to relocate from Jakarta may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve pregnancy outcomes and maternal health through enhanced nutritional support.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown positive outcomes with micronutrient supplementation during pregnancy, suggesting potential benefits from this approach.
