Effects of exercise on vascular health in postmenopausal women
Effects of Crossover Point Exercise on Vascular Function of Women in Different Menopausal Years
This study is testing if a three-month exercise program can improve blood vessel health in postmenopausal women compared to those who don’t exercise.

What this trial studies
This study recruits postmenopausal women and randomly assigns them to four groups: two exercise groups (Early and Late Postmenopausal) and two control groups. Participants will undergo a graded exercise test to assess their maximum oxygen uptake, and vascular function will be measured immediately after the test. The exercise intensity for the intervention will be determined from the test results, and those in the exercise groups will participate in a three-month training program. All groups will be evaluated before and after the intervention to analyze changes in relevant health indicators.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are postmenopausal women without cardiovascular disease.
Not a fit: Patients with uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, or other significant health issues may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve vascular health in postmenopausal women, potentially reducing cardiovascular risks.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with exercise interventions in improving vascular health, suggesting this approach may be effective.
