What this trial studies

This clinical trial investigates the impact of Complex training compared to Conventional training on the performance of cricket fast bowlers. It involves a randomized controlled design with three groups: one receiving Complex training, another receiving Conventional training, and a control group. Participants will be assessed at baseline, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks using various performance metrics, including bowling speed and muscle strength. The study aims to enhance the athletic performance of fast bowlers through a structured training regimen.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are male cricket bowlers aged 18-25 with specific bowling speeds and physical fitness levels.

Not a fit: Patients with recent resistance training, musculoskeletal injuries, or other health issues may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could significantly improve the training methods for cricket fast bowlers, leading to enhanced performance on the field.

How similar studies have performed: While complex training has shown promise in other sports, this specific application in cricket fast bowlers is relatively novel and untested.
