What this trial studies

This clinical trial investigates the impact of enhanced golgi tendon organ stimulation on patients suffering from cervical disc herniation. Participants will undergo six sessions of stimulation targeting specific neck and shoulder muscles over three weeks, with the aim of reducing pain and improving muscle function. The study will assess whether this technique effectively alleviates symptoms associated with cervical disc herniation. The methodology includes both stimulation and pressure application to enhance blood flow and relieve muscle spasms.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals diagnosed with cervical disc herniation who are willing to participate in the study.

Not a fit: Patients with chronic bone diseases, previous cervical disc surgery, or structural abnormalities may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly reduce pain and improve quality of life for patients with cervical disc herniation.

How similar studies have performed: While the specific approach of enhanced golgi tendon organ stimulation is novel, similar techniques have shown promise in managing musculoskeletal pain in other studies.
