What this trial studies
This research aims to develop a digital technology-based treatment platform for migraine management and evaluate its effectiveness compared to traditional multidisciplinary treatment methods. The study will assess various aspects, including patient quality of life, satisfaction with treatment, and the applicability of digital interventions in healthcare. It will also explore patient demographics and compliance, as well as the cost-effectiveness of the digital approach. The goal is to determine how digital tools can enhance migraine treatment outcomes.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18-64 with a diagnosis of frequent episodic migraines occurring 8-14 days per month.
Not a fit: Patients with headaches outside the specified frequency, other primary or secondary headache diagnoses, or severe mental health issues may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could provide a more effective and accessible treatment option for patients suffering from migraines.
How similar studies have performed: While digital interventions in healthcare are gaining traction, this specific approach to migraine treatment is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
