What this trial studies
This study aims to create a new simulation curriculum for transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) based on prior research and guidelines from the American College of Emergency Physicians. It will incorporate an artificial intelligence evaluation model to assess the curriculum's effectiveness. The target participants are at least 60 junior physicians from emergency departments or other relevant fields who are interested in learning TEE. The goal is to enhance the ability of these physicians to use TEE in diagnosing and treating patients experiencing cardiac arrest, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are junior emergency physicians who have a keen interest in learning transesophageal echocardiography.
Not a fit: Emergency physicians who are not interested in learning TEE will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could significantly enhance the diagnostic skills of junior physicians, leading to better management of cardiac arrest patients.
How similar studies have performed: While the approach of integrating AI into medical training is gaining traction, this specific curriculum for TEE is novel and has not been extensively tested in prior studies.
Eligibility criteria
