This online survey will test whether higher decision fatigue is linked to greater emotional exhaustion in anesthesiologists practicing in Turkey.

What this trial studies
Anesthesiologists and anesthesia residents in Turkey will complete an anonymous online questionnaire including demographic items, the Decision Fatigue Scale (DFS), and the Emotional Exhaustion subscale of the Maslach Burnout Inventory. Responses will be screened for completeness and data quality before analysis. The study will look for associations between decision fatigue scores and demographic or professional variables and correlations with emotional exhaustion. Results will be analyzed to identify factors that contribute to cognitive load and burnout among clinicians.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal participants are practicing anesthesiologists or anesthesia residents in Turkey aged 24 or older who are actively involved in clinical decision-making and can complete the online survey.
Not a fit: Physicians not practicing clinical anesthesiology, those in purely administrative roles, or respondents who submit incomplete or invalid surveys are unlikely to directly benefit from the findings.

Inclusion Criteria: * Actively practicing anesthesiologists (specialists or residents) in Turkey. * Age 24 years or older. * Voluntarily provides informed consent through the online form. * Completes the online survey in full. Exclusion Criteria: * Health care professionals not working in the field of anesthesiology. * Individuals who do not provide informed consent through the online form. * Participants who submit incomplete surveys or provide patterned/invalid responses that compromise data quality. * Physicians currently in administrative positions who are not actively involved in clinical decision-making processes.
