What this trial studies
This observational study aims to collect and analyze data on the natural history and outcomes of complicated monochorionic twin pregnancies. It focuses on maternal, fetal, and neonatal data, particularly regarding conditions such as Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and other complications. The study will evaluate indications for fetal interventions and track outcomes to better understand these complex pregnancies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women aged 18 and older who are experiencing monochorionic twin pregnancies and have undergone evaluation or treatment for related complications.
Not a fit: Patients who are not experiencing monochorionic twin pregnancies or those who decline participation will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve understanding and management of complications in monochorionic twin pregnancies, leading to better outcomes for mothers and their babies.
How similar studies have performed: While this study focuses on a specific population, similar observational studies have provided valuable insights into the management of monochorionic twin pregnancies, suggesting potential for meaningful contributions to the field.
