What this trial studies
This observational study aims to explore the attitudes of Danish cancer nurses regarding the discussion of sexual health with their patients. It utilizes a questionnaire, the Health professionals Attitudes towards Sexual Health-Danish version (PA-SH-D), which is distributed to nurses through the Professional Society for Cancer Nurses. The study seeks to assess differences in perceived competence and knowledge among nurses in the oncology and hematology fields. By understanding these attitudes, the study hopes to identify areas for improvement in patient care related to sexual health.

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are nurses working in oncology or hematology in Danish hospitals who have daily contact with cancer patients.
Not a fit: Nurses who do not have daily contact with patients or who work outside of oncology or hematology will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the quality of care for cancer patients by improving communication about sexual health issues.
