What this trial studies

This clinical trial investigates the effects of core stability exercises on women experiencing pubic symphysis dysfunction during pregnancy. Participants will be randomly assigned to two groups: one receiving core stability exercises alone and the other receiving these exercises in conjunction with a pregnancy support belt. The study aims to determine if one approach is more effective than the other in alleviating pain and improving quality of life. Data will be collected at baseline and after six weeks of treatment, with analysis conducted using SPSS software.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are females aged 25-35 who experience pain in the pubic symphysis region during pregnancy.

Not a fit: Patients with medical conditions that prevent the use of pregnancy support belts or those with more severe posterior pain may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide effective management strategies for women suffering from pubic symphysis dysfunction during pregnancy.

How similar studies have performed: While there is limited research specifically on this combination of interventions, similar studies have shown promise in managing pelvic pain during pregnancy.
