This study is testing a Complete Lifestyle Medicine Program to see if it can help adults with chronic diseases like diabetes and obesity improve their health through lectures and exercise.

What this trial studies

This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a Complete Lifestyle Medicine Intervention Program (CLIP) for adults with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Participants will engage in a hybrid format, attending weekly lectures on lifestyle medicine pillars for 16 weeks, followed by an 8-week exercise program. The study will involve a total of 40 participants, with a focus on providing equal access through virtual and in-person options. Participants will be assessed using validated surveys to measure changes in health outcomes before and after the intervention.

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, dyslipidemia, or excess weight (BMI ≥ 25).

Not a fit: Healthy individuals without chronic diseases may not receive any benefit from this program.

Inclusion Criteria:

* prediabetes,
* type 2 diabetes,
* pre-hypertension,
* systemic hypertension,
* heart disease, dyslipidemia,
* and/or excess weight (BMI ≥ 25 (42)).

Exclusion Criteria:

* Healthy participants
