What this trial studies

This clinical trial aims to compare the effectiveness of two treatment techniques, positional release and manual pressure, on patients suffering from chronic low back pain. Participants aged 25 to 40 with atraumatic low back pain lasting more than three months will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Each group will undergo a treatment protocol consisting of four sessions per week for four weeks, with assessments of pain, range of motion, lumbosacral angle, and disability conducted before and after the intervention. The study will take place in a hospital setting, ensuring a controlled environment for evaluation.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are males and females aged 25 to 40 with chronic low back pain lasting more than three months and an anterior pelvic tilt.

Not a fit: Patients with a history of spinal surgery, vertebral fractures, or other significant spinal conditions may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide effective non-invasive treatment options for patients with chronic low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promising results with similar manual therapy techniques for chronic pain management, suggesting potential for success in this approach.
