What this trial studies

This clinical trial aims to compare the effects of two rehabilitation techniques: stabilizing reversal and rhythmic stabilization versus pelvic proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in patients who have suffered an ischemic stroke. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups and will undergo their respective interventions for 8 weeks, with assessments conducted at baseline, 4 weeks, and 8 weeks to evaluate trunk control, postural stability, and mobility. The study will utilize various assessment scales to measure outcomes and will analyze the data using appropriate statistical methods.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 40-65 who have been diagnosed with ischemic stroke within the last 6 months.

Not a fit: Patients with recurrent strokes, significant musculoskeletal disorders, or severe spasticity may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into more effective rehabilitation techniques for improving mobility and stability in stroke patients.

How similar studies have performed: While similar rehabilitation approaches have been explored, this specific comparison of techniques is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
