What this trial studies
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the Mulligan Pain Release Phenomenon with and without tapping in managing Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. Participants aged 20 to 40 with chronic knee pain will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two interventions over a four-week period. The study will assess pain levels and functional improvements using standardized scales. Data will be analyzed statistically to determine which method yields better outcomes for patients.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 20 to 40 with a history of anterior knee pain lasting 2-3 months and specific clinical findings.
Not a fit: Patients with recent knee surgery, acute conditions, or specific knee pathologies may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide a more effective treatment option for individuals suffering from Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results with similar approaches, indicating potential for success in this trial.
