What this trial studies

This study aims to compare the effects of Tabata training and plyometric training on the range of motion, agility, and vertical jump performance in Taekwondo players aged 12 to 25. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the Tabata or plyometric training group, with their progress measured using specific tests for agility and vertical jump. The study is single-blinded and will utilize statistical analysis to determine the significance of the results. Ethical approval has been obtained from the relevant committee at Riphah International University.

Not a fit: Patients who are out of practice, have recent musculoskeletal injuries, or any systemic diseases may not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria:

Taekwondo players, Both male and female players., Players aged 12- 25 years, Players who are playing taekwondo from at least past six months, Individuals with BMI between 18.5- 24.9

Exclusion Criteria:

Out of practice players, Players with any musculoskeletal injury within past four weeks, Unwilling participants, Players with any systemic disease
