What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess and compare the nutritional and metabolic profiles of vegetarian and omnivorous adults in Portugal. It will involve a cross-sectional analysis of 400 healthy participants aged 18-64, categorized into omnivorous, lacto-ovo vegetarian, and vegan groups. Data will be collected through blood and urine samples, anthropometric measurements, and validated questionnaires regarding dietary habits and lifestyle.
