What this trial studies

This observational study examines the differences in handgrip strength, lean mass, and blood pressure between primary school children aged 8-10 years with undernutrition and those with normal nutritional status. The study involves measuring the children's height and weight to determine their nutritional status using WHO Anthroplus software. Data will be analyzed to identify relationships between muscle strength, body composition, and blood pressure, providing insights into the health impacts of undernutrition in children.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy primary school children aged 8-10 years from Surabaya, Indonesia, whose parents consent to their participation.

Not a fit: Children with autoimmune diseases, congenital disorders, chronic diseases, or those undergoing specific medical treatments may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
