Comparing laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery for adrenal diseases
Possibilities of Surgical Treatment of Adrenal Diseases: Comparison of Laparoscopic and Robotic-assisted Adrenalectomy-a Prospective Study

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to analyze the effectiveness of laparoscopic versus robotic-assisted adrenalectomy in treating patients with adrenal diseases. It will assess which surgical method is superior and evaluate the quality of life of patients before and after the surgery. The study involves multiple centers and will collect data on patients who require adrenalectomy based on endocrinological and imaging evaluations. Participants will provide written consent to take part in the study.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include patients indicated for adrenalectomy based on endocrinological and imaging examinations.
Not a fit: Patients with simultaneous bilateral adrenalectomy, adrenal tumors larger than 12 cm, or suspected malignant tumors may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could help determine the most effective surgical approach for adrenal diseases, potentially improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have explored similar surgical techniques, but this specific comparison of laparoscopic versus robotic-assisted methods in adrenal surgery is relatively novel.
