What this trial studies

This study involves the automatic collection and storage of vital signs and clinical information from surgical patients during anesthesia. Using a custom-developed software called Vital Recorder, data such as heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital parameters are captured in real-time from multiple anesthesia devices. The aim is to create a comprehensive registry that can be used for future retrospective studies, enhancing the understanding of intraoperative patient management.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are all surgical patients undergoing procedures at the participating hospital.

Not a fit: Patients who are not undergoing surgery will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could improve patient safety and outcomes by providing valuable data for analyzing intraoperative events.

How similar studies have performed: While the approach of creating a registry for intraoperative data is established, the specific methodology and software used in this study may offer novel insights.
