What this trial studies

This observational study aims to gather biological samples, clinical information, and laboratory data from both diseased and reportedly healthy subjects at Intermountain Healthcare facilities. Participants will be divided into two groups: those with healthcare-related conditions and those without. The collected samples will be analyzed for known and potentially new biomarkers to enhance healthcare delivery and prognostic capabilities. There are no investigational treatments involved, and participants will continue their usual care during the study.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 and older, either diagnosed with a healthcare-related condition or reportedly healthy, who present at Intermountain Healthcare facilities.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable or unwilling to provide informed consent or have conditions that may compromise the study's integrity may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved healthcare delivery and better prognostic tools for various diseases.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in utilizing biobanks for biomarker discovery and healthcare improvement, making this approach promising.
