What this trial studies

This study is a randomized controlled trial that evaluates a multi-session cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) group intervention designed to enhance HIV outcomes for Latinx sexual minority men. The intervention focuses on improving coping strategies related to stigma stemming from various intersecting identities, including ethnicity and sexual orientation. By partnering with community organizations, the study aims to increase regular HIV testing and the uptake of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among participants. The research will also explore the mechanisms behind the intervention's effectiveness and conduct a cost-effectiveness analysis.
