What this trial studies

This study evaluates the impact of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) on ruminative thoughts and cognitive distortions in individuals who have experienced earthquakes. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research will include both quantitative and qualitative assessments, with participants undergoing 8-10 therapy sessions lasting 45-60 minutes each. The study will take place in a container city in Osmaniye, focusing on individuals over 18 years old who have been exposed to earthquakes. The effectiveness of CBT will be measured through pre-test and post-test evaluations, along with follow-up assessments.
