What this trial studies

This clinical trial evaluates the effectiveness of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) breathing exercises combined with Schroth therapy in adolescents diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS). Participants will undergo a comprehensive assessment of their scoliosis curvature using X-rays and a scoliosis meter, alongside evaluations of their quality of life and pain levels through validated questionnaires and scales. The study aims to identify how these interventions can improve physical and psychological well-being in adolescents with scoliosis.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adolescents aged 10 to 18 with a Cobb angle between 10 and 50 degrees diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis.

Not a fit: Patients who have undergone scoliosis surgery or have other significant medical conditions may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could enhance the quality of life and reduce pain for adolescents suffering from scoliosis.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results with similar therapeutic approaches for scoliosis, suggesting potential for success in this trial.
