What this trial studies

This study aims to develop a culturally informed community-based intervention to alleviate psychological distress caused by chronic stigma exposure among Black gender minority women, specifically transgender women. The intervention will be co-led by community members and public health nurses, incorporating weekly group sessions and supplemental educational content available online. Researchers will utilize a hybrid delivery model and adaptive intervention approach, assessing participant satisfaction and acceptability through qualitative and quantitative methods. Inclusion Criteria:

* 18 years or older
* gender is woman/transgender feminine/female
* assigned male sex at birth
* speak/read English

Exclusion Criteria:

* Enrolled in mental health treatment or a controlled consequential environment (e.g. mental health transitional living environment)
