What this trial studies
This study aims to develop a culturally informed community-based intervention to alleviate psychological distress caused by chronic stigma exposure among Black gender minority women, specifically transgender women. The intervention will be co-led by community members and public health nurses, incorporating weekly group sessions and supplemental educational content available online. Researchers will utilize a hybrid delivery model and adaptive intervention approach, assessing participant satisfaction and acceptability through qualitative and quantitative methods. The goal is to evaluate the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of this intervention in managing psychological distress symptoms.

Inclusion Criteria: * 18 years or older * gender is woman/transgender feminine/female * assigned male sex at birth * speak/read English Exclusion Criteria: * Enrolled in mental health treatment or a controlled consequential environment (e.g. mental health transitional living environment)
