What this trial studies
This observational study focuses on patients diagnosed with various forms of primary electrical disease, including idiopathic ventricular fibrillation and long QT syndrome, at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital. Clinical data and echocardiographic indicators are collected from 2020 to 2023, with follow-up continuing until December 30, 2025, or until specific cardiovascular events occur. The study aims to analyze predictors of primary electrical disease and identify risk factors for adverse cardiovascular events through statistical analysis of composite endpoints.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals diagnosed with primary electrical disease.
Not a fit: Patients with congenital heart disease or significant valvular disease may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the understanding and management of cardiovascular risks in patients with primary electrical disease.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is focused on a specific patient population, similar studies have shown promise in understanding cardiovascular risks associated with electrical diseases.
