What this trial studies

This investigation evaluates the feasibility, safety, and performance of the 'TeleRehaStroke' application-based training program for patients recovering from a stroke in the subacute phase. Participants will use the 'Blended Clinic' mobile application during their last weeks of inpatient rehabilitation and continue for 12 weeks post-discharge. The program includes daily exercises, blood pressure monitoring, coaching messages, and educational content, all aimed at maintaining motivation and training intensity at home. Outcomes will be assessed at various time points to determine the program's effectiveness.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 and older who have experienced a clinically confirmed stroke and can engage with the mobile application.

Not a fit: Patients with severe aphasia or significant comorbid conditions that hinder their ability to participate in an exercise program may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this program could enhance stroke recovery by providing continuous support and motivation for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient rehabilitation.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using digital applications for stroke rehabilitation, indicating that this approach is both relevant and potentially effective.
