What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the impact of acupressure on pain, anxiety, and hemodynamic variables in patients undergoing urodynamic procedures. It is a randomized controlled experimental study where participants will be assigned to either an acupressure group or a control group. The acupressure will be administered by a certified researcher at specific points on the body. Data will be collected using various scales and monitoring forms to assess pain intensity and anxiety levels before and after the intervention.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who are conscious, oriented, and undergoing invasive urodynamic procedures.

Not a fit: Patients who are under 18, uncooperative, or have communication problems may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide a non-invasive method to reduce pain and anxiety in patients undergoing urodynamic procedures.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results for acupressure in managing pain and anxiety, suggesting that this approach may be effective.
