What this trial studies

The BrainHealth Project is a ten-year longitudinal initiative aimed at identifying factors that influence brain health and cognitive performance. Participants will engage in semi-annual online assessments to monitor their cognitive function over time, complemented by access to online training and resources designed to enhance brain health. Additionally, one-on-one coaching sessions will be available to support participants in applying learned strategies to their daily lives. A select group will also have the opportunity to participate in brain imaging assessments to further explore brain health determinants.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are English-speaking individuals with internet access who are interested in optimizing their brain health.

Not a fit: Patients with diagnosed neurodegenerative diseases or significant brain injuries may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this project could lead to improved strategies for maintaining and enhancing cognitive function across the lifespan.

How similar studies have performed: While there have been various studies on cognitive health, this project's comprehensive approach to long-term brain health optimization is relatively novel.
