What this trial studies

This study focuses on using 3D printed enlarged carpal models to enhance the anatomy training of medical professionals and students. By comparing different sizes of 3D printed models with conventional models, the study aims to determine the effectiveness of these innovative teaching tools. The approach leverages advanced imaging techniques to create accurate representations of anatomical structures, facilitating a deeper understanding of complex anatomy. Participants will engage in anatomy training sessions using these models to assess their educational impact.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are medical students or professionals interested in enhancing their knowledge of carpal anatomy.

Not a fit: Patients with prior experience using carpal bone models or those with recent upper extremity trauma may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve the anatomical understanding and surgical skills of medical students and professionals.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown success in using 3D printed models for educational purposes in various medical fields, indicating a promising approach.
