What this research studies

This research focuses on establishing the Brooklyn Clinical Research Site as part of a larger study on HIV infection and its associated health challenges. It aims to recruit a diverse group of 500 men and women living with HIV, along with matched controls, to gather extensive clinical, biological, and psychosocial data. The study will follow participants over time to understand the impact of HIV on aging and other comorbidities. By engaging a multidisciplinary team, the research seeks to address innovative scientific questions related to HIV.
