What this research studies

You and your child would be reached with person-first, age-appropriate outreach created by local teams who partner with community organizations. The team uses tested Precision Engagement and Participant Journey methods to sign up, support, and keep families in the All of Us program. Work focuses on pediatric and family activities, including the Pediatric Pilot contributions already underway. Activities include enrollment, data and biospecimen collection, and long-term participant support to keep people engaged.

Who could benefit from this research

Good fit: Ideal candidates are children (ages 0–11) and their families—particularly those living in Arizona, Colorado, or Wyoming and from communities underrepresented in research—who are willing to share health information and biospecimens with All of Us.

Not a fit: People who are unwilling to share health data or biospecimens, or who live outside the consortium's recruitment areas and cannot be reached, are less likely to benefit from this local enrollment effort.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this effort could increase representation of children from diverse backgrounds in the All of Us dataset, helping researchers develop more tailored pediatric care in the future.

How similar studies have performed: The consortium has already enrolled over 88,000 participants across Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming and contributed to the All of Us Pediatric Pilot, showing prior success with these recruitment methods.
